Vertical Brevet Discovery Ride Road 100km
This will be the first of three Road Discovery Rides taking you through the Vertical Coffee backyard on small roads. The ride is divided into three loops, each starting and finishing at Vertical Coffee HQ where you can refuel with coffee and snacks, have a change of clothes and socialise while off the bike. You can choose the order in which you’d like to ride the loops and are free to ride together with others.
The Discovery Ride is unsupported, meaning you will need to take care of navigation, mechanicals (in the unfortunate event) and fuelling en-route.
GPX files of the routes will be sent out a week before the event.

Riderawr Hive Ride
The fourth annual Hive Ride will take place in the beautiful town of Schüpfheim, LU on May 10th! This womens social ride features all the ingredients for an awesome day: coffee, two lovely routes with our coaches, lunch, workshops and prizes!
Oh, and there will be fine coffee!

Vertical Brevet Back By Four - Run Ride Relay
Back By Four is a new event format which calls not only for endurance and fitness but for teamwork and tactics.
First and foremost, it is a relay on foot and wheels - involving running and riding: Teams of two humans and one self-powered bike will tackle a set course of 50-60km and ticking off several checkpoints along the way, relaying running and riding at their discretion. Teammates can run/ride alongside each other in support or leapfrog each other by depositing the bike and catching up - however, the entire team (including the bike) must complete the entire course.
So far so good. As you can imagine, there’s a twist to the format: Here’s where the “Back By Four” comes in.
Teams can start at any time from 8am onward (that’s when we’ll be ready at HQ with coffee and snacks) - but the complete team must be back by 4pm. Arriving any time after 4pm (to be exact, when 4pm is over - so 4:01 or 16:01h) means outside of time limit and no classification. The last team to start and finish within the time limit wins.
At 4.15pm - when hopefully everyone is back - there’ll be an afterparty with tasty food and drinks!
Of course you can start early, finish early and spend the time waiting for the finishline party socializing and enjoying coffee and good times!
Cycle Week Campus Brunau / Züri Escape Gravel & Bikepacking Event
During the Cycle Week - Zurich’s fantastic cycling festival - we’ll be keeping the visitors of the Brunau Campus well caffeinated with our tasty coffee beverages.

Züri Escape , a self-supported fixed-route bikepacking event will be part of the Cycle Week, starting and finishing in the jungle of Zurich and taking you to remote places you didn’t know that you didn’t know - on 400km of mostly gravel riding including 10’000m of climbing.

Swim-Bike-Run in Zug! Located in the heart of the city, the Zytturm Triathlon has been a mainstay of Swiss Triathlon and will feature our VW Coffee Bus for the first time this year.

Octopus Gravel
Where do competitive gravel (segment) racing and party vibes meet? In Andermatt - that’s where you’ll find the breathtaking gravel routes. Choose one, two, three, four… from seven arms of the Octopus Gravel or ride them all. They will take you to places you may have ridden or driven past countless times but didn’t know where there.
We’ll be at the base camp ready to replenish and re-caffeinate you before you leave or when you come back. Oh, and of course at registration the day before the race.
