At Vertical Coffee Roasters, we believe that a unique coffee drink not only has the power to lighten up your day but also to connect people from all walks of life. That's why we roast Specialty Coffee in an approachable way, highlighting the hard work done at origin. And we're actively building a community by serving tasty coffee at our coffee trucks and by hosting one-of-a-kind sport events.

PROUDLY ROASTING COFFEE SINCE 2010

We started roasting coffee back in 2010 under the name Gipfelstürmer Kaffee without knowing much about coffee, let alone having a clue where this adventure would lead us. Our main goal was and still is to make coffee fun, approachable and most of all, bring people together and build a community. When a year later we learned about Specialty Coffee and drank our first fruity espresso, we were hooked and wanted more. We built our original coffee van and started serving our coffee at events. Soon after we opened (2014) and closed (2016) one of the first coffee shops serving Specialty Coffee in Zurich. We rebranded in late 2016 to Vertical Coffee Roasters for everyone’s better understanding and to reach a broader audience. Since then, we have focused on roasting the tastiest beans we can find and taking our coffee trucks to every corner of our little country - sharing many wonderful coffee moments with all kinds of lovely people and putting a smile on every face.
